Location: Ballito, South Africa | Working Hours: 4:00 - 21:00, Monday to Friday

As a Business Development Specialist at Back Desk Global, you’ll play a key role in expanding our client base in the U.S. This position focuses on acquiring new business through proactive outreach and relationship building. You will engage with prospective clients, introduce them to our services, and work towards securing lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify, research, and approach potential clients in the U.S. market through cold calling, email, and other outreach methods.
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their outsourcing and remote staffing requirements
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and track leads, prospects, and clients using CRM tools such as Monday.com to ensure a streamlined sales process.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly targets for client acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align on client needs and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role with a focus on the U.S. market.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in English, with the ability to present confidently and effectively.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of B2B sales, client outreach, and relationship building and management.
  • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently and stay motivated to meet challenging targets.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems and outreach tools; proficiency in LinkedIn.
  • Adaptable: Ability to work during U.S. business hours and adjust communication style to meet client expectations.
